Feeling The Pulse

Melissa stopped outside the manor, holding her fingers to her neck and looking at counting quietly. She'd just finished her run around the grounds and she pulled her earbuds out of her ears with her free hand and tapped the "Stop" button on her phone.

Kevin "Lionheart" Gravis stepped out, seemingly too engrossed in looking at something on his tablet to avoid running into Melissa.

Melissa was too busy winding down from her run to notice Kevin's approach either. As he bumped into her, she stumbled, reaching out to grab for anything that might keep her from falling.

"Oh it's awesome here. I even got to slay a dragon. But that wasn't as fun as it sounds... dragon steak is terrible. Still have some on ice somewhere though," he answered, rambling slightly.
