[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Her own eyes were golden, and she narrowed them, curling her lip, a low growl escaping before finally she relented with an audible snarl, staring down at her food.

"Anyone else lining up to yell at me? Really? Want to tell me how I really screwed this up? Get it out of your systems."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Not your fault," Murphy says. She stands up. "I'll talk to Theresa."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"...sorry." Steph mumbled, her more rational side seeming to have regained some control.

[Brigid Plunder]

"I don't even know what to say to Vertie," she sighs, taking another bite.

"She's nice, I just... can't handle all this stuff she's saying when everybody's going for my throat here."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Maybe...we could both go talk to her later? Apologize?"

[Brigid Plunder]

"...yeah, we probably should," she admits between bites.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph unbent her spoon with some difficulty and stabbed at her remaining pork chops, frustrated. "Almost harder to do all of this with those two dating..."

"They're a good couple. This wouldn't have happened if I hadn't screwed that up."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Are they?" she asked.

"I know Murphy fairly well. She seems very happy. You...know Theresa far better than I do...and it's not like I have any room to talk about what makes a good relationship..."


She contemplatively munched on a large bite of pork. "You're sort of new to this, and it doesn't exactly come with a manual. Not your fault," she said, looking at her with brown eyes.

[Brigid Plunder]

"I just... don't know how I'm not supposed to fight. Especially when it's all of you getting on my case at once."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"...doesn't help that that's sort of your *thing*"

[Brigid Plunder]

"Yeah," she sighs, still plowing through the burgers.

"I'm so not wired like that."

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Everyone is taking this way too seriously."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"...maybe we all need to take a page from your book and just get baked."

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Boom! Nailed it. That's why they made you assistant power control teaching assistant director of the local division of the shapeshifting student union."

[Brigid Plunder]

"Good luck convincing the rest."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Well.." she said looking around conspiratorially, "I think I got you your first buzz off that wine the other day, Brigid. Want to give me a first?"

[Jennifer Newgate]

"I hope you're still talking about pot, because I already made a 'That's what she said' joke earlier."

[Brigid Plunder]

"Uhm... and I don't think it's really for me to say 'let's go smoke all of Jen's pot.'"

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph reddened, "Yes, the pot...and I'd be willing to...trade you some things to make up for it?"

[Brigid Plunder]

"...you are totally bad at making this not sound dirty."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph was bright red, but finally cracking a bit of a smile "Damnit! No. I don't like girls!"

[Jennifer Newgate]

"And until today I would have sworn you didn't smoke pot. It's a day of surprises for all of us."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"...I never have before. But I'm not as boring as you all think I am."

[Brigid Plunder]

"So is there a way to say this scheme that doesn't sound like innuendo, or should we wait until we're done eating?"

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"...apparently not," she smirked.

[Brigid Plunder]

"Then it's up to Jen how much she wants to corrupt you," she smirks.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Yeah right, like I'm gonna pass on watching her toke up."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Corrupt away...just remember, this all stays in the pack," she grinned.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Yeah right, like I'm dumb enough to blackmail you with this."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Just making sure," she smirked. "Everyone may hate me, but I do still like my job."
