"And you're kind of a bitch," Regan says, "But...thanks."

"It's all right," Victoria said. "You did good tonight. So thank you."

Regan hid a small smile at being praised, "I didn't really do anything."

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria gave her an appraising look. "If you say so," she said, very obviously not pressing her on something. "And now since I'm feeling like a bitch... mind if I do a little something I've wanted to do since our first lesson?"

"I'm probably going to regret this, but okay," Regan says, figuring she was probably about to get slapped. Or at least flicked in the ear.

"Good," Victoria said, pushing the bloody hoody off of Regan's head. "Ugh. Doing spectral laundry is never fun," she said. "We might need to burn it." Then she put her hand over the head wound and started chanting, making spectral brain and bone and flesh to begin mending and re-growing, even if it was a purely cosmetic thing.

Regan looked surprised and a bit shocked. As Victoria finished, she reached up, touching the back of her head and looking at her fingers.

"You fixed it," Regan said, "...I..I..."

"Thank you," Regan finally manages to say, sniffing and wiping her eyes with her sleeve.

"I wanted to teach you to do it yourself, but... let's face it, by the time you decide to listen to me for a while, you'll probably have had that head wound for a few years."

"Probably," Regan says, looking happier than Victoria had ever seen her.

"So I thought maybe a demonstration of benefits was in order," she said. "Now come on. Let's get home. banishing demons leaves me hungry."
