I12DT: Things Get Worse

[Alex Carpenter]

"I... maybe? Not like I ever tried..."

Paint started flaking off of the car, along with the tires, and anything else non-metal. The rest of it... Well, it looked odd, seeing it all oozing down underneath, but that's exactly what it did, adding its bulk to Alex as he started pushing himself back up, looking at the giant robot. Holy shit am I in over my head...

[Anastasiya Volkoff]

"Well, no time like present, da?"

[Narrator]

"FIRE!"

A single, large blast of energy shot towards the group!

[Anastasiya Volkoff]

"Go!" Anastasiya said, hurling Alex forward with her might!

[Alex Carpenter]

SHIIIIIIIIIIIT! And Alex flew at the robot (TOTALLY by his own courage and initiative). Better make the most of it... He hauled back, getting ready to punch the damned thing at the right moment when he flew close enough to it.

[Narrator]

Alex took the brunt of the beam. It wasn't powerful enough to knock him back or hurt him badly, but it was hot and very uncomfortable even for a man of steel.

Or whatever cars are made of.

Alex hit dead center in the lens that the beam fired from, cracking it and causing light and kirby dots to spill out from it.

[Kevin Gravis]

Kevin shook off the epic WTF and traded the basketball for a very big broadsword. Then he dashed around behind the robot to hack at its ankles. Screw playing nice. Nice isn't for Bigotron.

[Narrator]

Kevin's sword bit into the giant robot's leg, carving a nice shallow cut into it. In response it swung a mighty fist down at Kevin.

"HARD RIGHT!"

[Kevin Gravis]

Kevin quickly flipped out of the way. The blade, however, stayed behind kept chopping at the wound.

"Jedi beats droid. Everyone knows that!"

[Benjamin Brant]

Ben groans, starting to get up while clutching his head.

[Anastasiya Volkoff]

"Stay down, comrade. You may have a concussion."

[Benjamin Brant]

"Glrrrb," Ben responded.

[Molly Malcolm]

Molly lands next to Ben, "I can get him to the hospital, miss."

"I don't think I'm going to be much help with...well, that thing."

[Narrator]

Roaring in pain at Kevin's attack, Lord Right fires a laser from its fist at the ground wildly. It leaves scorch marks on the concrete!

[Alex Carpenter]

Alex tried to stagger away, and found himself falling against Lord Right's foot. Heeeeyyyyy... how ya doin' buddy.... hey, wait a minute... Woozy as he was, it took him a minute to get a coherent (and relevant) thought in, but it came. Focusing (as well as he could), he tried to sync with the metal of Lord Wright's foot.

[Narrator]

Alex would find himself syncing up to some sort of strange alien alloy.

"We're taking heavy damage!" a voice said from within "Lord Right".

"Keep fighting! We won't lose to this mutant scum!"

[Kevin Gravis]

"Can it Lady Wrong," Kevin said, his sword flying back to his outstretched arm. It really was kind of badass looking. He dumped the energy of the probably useless armor into his weapon and the blade gained dimensions more fitting to some anime than real life.

"Awesome."

He charged in again. "Shining Holy Warrior Strike!" he called out, swinging hard.

[Alex Carpenter]

And Alex just sort of slumped there against the foot, starting to siphon metal off of the body at... well, not a fast pace by any means, but it was what he could manage at this point.

[Narrator]

Alex managed to siphon off a good amount of metal, exposing the robot to Kevin's strike. His sword went right through it like butter and sparks fired in all directions.

"A DIRECT HIT!

"We need to get out of here!"

"You mutants watch out! We'll be RIGHT BACK!"

And in a blast of light, Lord Right disappeared, orbs of light flying off into the distance.
