Isabel coughed, choking on her beer.

[Connor Marshall]

"Drink it slower, luv," Connor mused without looking back at the girls.

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita grins. "Yeah, should be great! I mean, I know it ain't a big space but I bet if we keep our rooms open we kin get about twenty people in there, no problem."

[Isabel Galen]

"What day were you thinking about?" Isabel asked.

[Anita Fernandez]

"This weekend, if there ain't any other parties goin' on. Otherwise, as soon as I can."

She downs the rest of her beer. "Dya know if the weekend is clear?"

[Isabel Galen]

"I just remembered, I promised to cover someone's shift Sunday morning." Isabel said "But go ahead and have the party, I'll just find someplace else to crash."

[Anita Fernandez]

"Are ya sure? I'm sure I kin find someplace else ta do it."

[Connor Marshall]

"Hard ta predict a work schedule these days," Connor mused, sliding another beer across the bar to Anita.

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita nods a thanks to Connor and drains half that beer on her first pull. She looks over at Connor. "Hey, ya'll want ta come ta the party? I'm sure there will be plenty a room, specially if I'm findin' another venue."

[Isabel Galen]

"Nah, I'm good." Isabel said, giving Connor a scowl "I'll just find someplace else to stay."

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita shakes her head at Isabel. "Naw, my daddy'd skin me alive if I let a party screw up somebody's workin' schedule. Don' worry 'bout it. I'll find a place no problem. Rent one if I hafta, heck, may be able ta just use the student union fer a small fee er somethin'."

[Isabel Galen]

"Oh, ok." Isabel said "You don't need to put yourself out on my account, but thanks."

[Connor Marshall]

Connor shrugged at Anita. "Have ta see when it comes up. Like I said... work schedules. Weekends are busy times for a bartender."

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita nods at Connor, "Yeah, that's rough. Well, yer still invited, an' if ya can't make it, that's alright. I'll drink one for ya."

She smiles at Isabel. "Ain't no problem. And that way maybe ya'll can come for the early part of the party at least. I'm sure ya'll know all the folks I'm gonna invite anyway, but a party is always a good time!"

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah, totally awesome." Isabel said.

[Anita Fernandez]

"Besides, my stuff is gettin' shipped here, probably won't have everything ah need ta decorate our room like I like it 'til after the party."

[Isabel Galen]

"Decorate the room?" Isabel said, managing not to choke this time.

[Connor Marshall]

As she thankfully didn't choke, a shot was put down on the bar in front of Izzy, another one being poured out for Anita.

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita depth-charges what's left of her beer with the shot and downs them both with a couple of quick gulps. "Yeah, not the bit ya'll got decorated of course. But my part a the suite. It'll be... a strong contrast." She chuckles. "I'll let ya'll pick if I put the cowboy posters or the pink pillows out in the main room."

"Pillows" Isabel said quickly "For sure the pillows."

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita smiles. "Ya got it! It'll actually look good with the black an' stuff on yer side of the room when I'm done, trust me."

[Isabel Galen]

"yeah, really, really good."

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita raises her glass. "Ta a good year tagether."

[Isabel Galen]

"And no Sentinel attacks." Isabel said, secretly hoping for a little one.

[Anita Fernandez]

"Yeah I can drink ta that one!" She slides a bill over to Connor for another round.
