"Seems like it'll be interesting and I'll still get to hang out with you guys."

"Nah, you'll probably hang with your new cool college friends all the time."

[Theresa McMasters]

"And my cool high school friends."

[Kay Haddock]

"Right, of course." she smiles.

[Theresa McMasters]

"Promise," she said, raising a hand.

[Kay Haddock]

"Alright then. Guess you'll only move one building over anyway." she smiles.

[Theresa McMasters]

"Yeah, I'm kind of curious what the roommate situation is going to be like. I'll miss ASHLIE."

[Kay Haddock]

"If you wanna room with somebody I bet I could ask Miranda to ask her Mum."

[Theresa McMasters]

"I think I'll save that card for when I really need the connection, but thanks. Do you think they'll change your roommates next year?"

[Kay Haddock]

"I dunno. Maybe? I guess I could ask to room with Miri but... I'm too scared to ask them that."

[Theresa McMasters]

"You could always see how Christmas goes and ask afterwards."

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah, I'm sure they'd love to put their daughter in the same room as her girlfriend." she chuckles.

[Theresa McMasters]

"You never know unless you ask," she teased.

[Kay Haddock]

"Oh sure, it's that simple."

[Theresa McMasters]

"It doesn't all have to be complicated, Kay."

[Kay Haddock]

"It's not complicated. Just scary."

[Theresa McMasters]

"Said the girl who stowed away on a trip to the Savage Lands."

[Kay Haddock]

"That's different..." she tries to explain.

[Theresa McMasters]

"You're right, it's way more dangerous."

[Kay Haddock]

"But less scary! It's not like I expect the headmistress to kill me or anything..."

[Theresa McMasters]

"Just fix you with a disapproving glare?"

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah! That's way worse than dinosaurs."

[Theresa McMasters]

Theresa just chuckled, "You're one of a kind, Kay."

[Kay Haddock]

She grins at the compliment. "Besides, I had Brigid there with me to kung-fu chop the dinosaurs." she chuckles.

[Theresa McMasters]

"Brigid's good to have along, no matter what you need."

[Kay Haddock]

"Sadly there's no kung-fu chopping the headmistress."

[Theresa McMasters]

"Yeah, that'd probably be worse than asking to room with her daughter."

[Kay Haddock]

"Or! It would make her so angry about that she won't mind the question."

[Theresa McMasters]

"Yeah, I'd be willing to lay money it wouldn't work that way," she said with a laugh.

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah, sure, just keep ruining my dreams." she chuckles.

[Theresa McMasters]

"You know me," she said, "Keeping everyone else real."

[Kay Haddock]

"It's a thankless job, but someone's gotta do it." she chuckles.

[Theresa McMasters]

"Well, I have to have something to counterbalance my own lack of reality."

[Kay Haddock]

"What lack of reality?"

[Theresa McMasters]

"Well, I figure if I keep everyone else grounded, I'm allowed to be as 'out there' as I want to be."

[Kay Haddock]

"Oh, I see. Make yourself look even more awesome by comparison." she chuckles.

[Theresa McMasters]

"That makes it sound like less than the profound service I am providing," she smirked.

[Kay Haddock]

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me."
