"Nah. It's fine," Winn says. "My favorite color is purple. I like listening to old punk rock bands and watching horror movies. I love tattoos and I spend most of my money on getting inked."

"A lot," Winn says. "The upper half of my back is done, both shoulders, I've got one on my left foot, one on my shoulder, and a chest design I'm having word done bit by bit."

Winn finishes off her beer and puts it on the table, "Pfft. Like I give a shit what these assholes see. Here..."

Winn gets out of her side of the booth and switches over to sitting next to Veronica. She pulls off her shoe to reveal a small, well done tattoo of a fruit bat on her foot.

"That was for my friend Tommy. We used to call him 'Fruit Bat', before, y'know. He died."

Veronica is only about half finished with her ale. She scoots over to give Winn some room and peers at the tattoo with a smile. "Why call him zat?"

"Oh, settle down," Winn says. Luckily, she was wearing a bra. "It's not like I'm flashing my tits at the room. Nobody cares."

Winn turned her back to Veronica. On her upper back was a simple, but well done tattoo of a tree with no leaves. A flock of simple, black birds were flying away up her neck. The roots of the tree spread out down her side, giving the impression that the tree was supposed to frame a larger back tattoo.

"When I decide what I want to do next," Winn says, turning to show Veronica the rest of her tattoos.

The design began with a half-sleeve on her right shoulder that flowed into a larger, matching unfinished design on Winn's upper chest. The geometric designs and flowers framed the outline of an unfinished bird, presumably another raven. Winn leaned back so Veronica could get a good look, both to tease the other girl and because she was proud of the design.

If Veronica was observant, she might also notice that Winn's bra was covering a set of piercings. With multiple ear piercings, one eyebrow pierced, and these, apparently Winn had a general interest in body modification.

Veronica's eyes drifted across the tattoos in an impressed expression. Not perverted at all. "Absolutely beautiful." She says genuinely, taking a swig from her ale. "Zose had to hurt, non?" She motions to the piercings towards Winn's chest.

"Something along those lines," Winn says. She smiles at Veronica. "I think what's most important is that feeling of being alive, y'know? That wild sort-of crazy feeling you get when your heart is pounding and you can't think about anything but what's happening right at that exact moment? That's the best fucking feeling in the world."

Winn backs down a little bit, looking amused.

"If all you want is some friendly drinks, that's cool," Winn says with a shrug. "I'll back off."

"But I don't want to play games," Winn says. "I think you're cute. I liked kissing you and I'd totally like to do it some more. Up to you."

Winn gets up out of the booth and heads to the bar, leaving Veronica alone for a few minutes while she gets drinks.

Veronica sat there, taken aback. She probably looked like a deer in headlights. Her cheeks were as red as a Delicious Sweet apple, and by the look on her face she probably really didn't even know what to say to everything.

This...wow. Was not expecting this. She wipes at her face and tries to shake off the awkwardness.

"Sank you." She says with an appreciative smile. "I will be honest, because I feel zat being open is zee best policy and you deserve eet. I sink friendly drinks are best right now." She hoped that didn't upset Winn, but she was only being honest.
