Theresa settled into an empty table in the Rose & Crown, holding something suitably fruity and very light on alcohol as she surveyed the room. Drinking alone wasn't exactly her idea of a good time, but she was still feeling out this 'college' thing.

Victoria, sitting at the bar and sipping a glass of wine, gave Theresa a little smirk over her glass of wine and a wave.

Theresa raised an eyebrow, but gestured to one of the empty seats at her table in invitation.

"Drinking alone doesn't suit you, darling," Victoria mused as she joined her at the table. "Can't look too broody, hm?"

[Theresa McMasters]

"Wasn't attempting to look broody, just tired of being on campus. It's been a crazy week."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Here's to that," Victoria said, raising her glass. "So what's your brand of 'log week'?"

[Theresa McMasters]

"Taking Vivienne shopping, impromptu counseling for one of the Institute students, and trying to wrap my head around college work. It's just been a whirlwind."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Sounds like an average week," Victoria said sympathetically. "I got to stop a dragon from mauling her sister, get between a fight over ancient fey property rights, and got invited to a fancy-dress ball that may or may not center around world domination."

[Theresa McMasters]

"You win," she said with a chuckle.

[Victoria Valentine]

She smirked. "Nah, I really don't. Your stuff took finesse and charm, mine just required me to throw a little weight around."

[Theresa McMasters]

"Finesse and charm? Me? How many glasses have you had?"

[Victoria Valentine]

"Well, the fey princess seems to like you, and I can't remember the last time any of the high school darlings came to me for anything," she said. "Let's face it, dear, you're much better with people than I am."

[Theresa McMasters]

"I think the fey princess tolerates me. And the student stumbled into my flight training in the Danger Room just in time to see the Room kick my ass. But I appreciate the compliment all the same."

[Victoria Valentine]

"I think that 'tolerating' is the best reaction we can hope to get right now," Victoria said. "But that's all right. Be humble if you like."

"I'm still set for that trip next weekend if you are."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Good lord, yes," Victoria said. "I'm going to need to get away a bit before dealing with that rubbish on Saturday, and that sounds perfect."

"Just let me know what I need to bring."

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria shrugged. "Just what you'd bring for a camping trip. I'll bring anything that we might need for... extracurriculars."

She chuckles and sips at her drink, "You make it sound so naughty."
