Dinner Date: High Steaks

[Hannah Murphy]

"Can be," Murphy says. She smiles shyly.

[Theresa McMasters]

"You're cute when you're shy, you know that right?"

[Hannah Murphy]

"That's good," Murphy says. "Always shy."

[Theresa McMasters]

"I wouldn't say you're always shy. You have your take-charge moments."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Necessary."

[Theresa McMasters]

"And kinda sexy," Theresa teased. "Especially to a bull-headed, control-freak like me."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Control freaks have a thing for werewolf pirates," Murphy teases.

[Theresa McMasters]

"It's a special option on OKCupid, don't you know? Only available if you label yourself as a control freak. 'Werewolf pirate.'"

[Hannah Murphy]

"But only 'cause we all want 'bull-headed control freaks."

[Theresa McMasters]

"Well, I guess it works out then," she says with a laugh.

[Hannah Murphy]

"Guess so," Murphy says.

[Theresa McMasters]

"So," Theresa said, reaching across the table for Murphy's hand. "What are the odds I can talk you into staying in my room tonight?"

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy's heart skips a beat. She reaches out and squeezes Theresa''s hand.

"Pretty good."

[Theresa McMasters]

"I promise you won't be bored."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Won't bring some to read then," Murphy jokes.

[Theresa McMasters]

"You can raid my bookshelf if you absolutely have to."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Too distracted to read," Murphy says.

[Theresa McMasters]

"That's the plan," Theresa says, smiling.

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy blushes and is about to respond when the waiter comes with their order. As she eats her steak, Murphy seems to be enjoying herself, but is very obviously distracted by Theresa the entire time. She keeps staring at her girlfriend and forgetting to eat.

Theresa, for her part, flirts with Murphy throughout the entire meal. As the meal winds down, she asks, "Penny for your thoughts?"

This made Murphy blush really hard for some reason. She looked away from Theresa and hid her face behind her hand while getting in a staring contest with the floor.

[Theresa McMasters]

"Ah," Theresa grinned, "Ready for dessert then?"

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy nods, her limited skills at speech completely failing her at this point.

[Theresa McMasters]

Theresa tossed some money on the table. "We should go then, because I'm still hungry."

[Hannah Murphy]

"You are?" Murphy asks obliviously. "Could stay bit longer. If you're hungry."

[Theresa McMasters]

Theresa leaned over and growled in Murphy's ear as she tugged on her hand. "Not that kind of hungry."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Right," Murphy says quickly, following Theresa out of the restaurant.
