"I'll remember. No one messes with the Sloan sisters, I'm sure," Ignata said with a chuckle.

[Anika Sloan]

"Well they can certainly try. But I feel like things may get a little too hot for them to handle."

[Gemma Sloan]

"A flameproof outfit would be advisable. You should probably get those ribs looked at."

[Anika Sloan]

"Should. That is the key word. I've taken a beating before, I can handle it," she said, trying to act tough. "I gotta say, I'm impressed though. Haven't had my ass kicked like that in a while. You're learning," she said seriously with a wink.

[Gemma Sloan]

"Part of my therapy," she said seriously with a wink of her own. "But seriously, I don't want to carry you to the infirmary, but I will if I have to."

[Anika Sloan]

She rolled her eyes. "I don't need to go to the infirmary." Anika really, really hated doctors.

[Gemma Sloan]

"And what am I supposed to tell Gemma if our sister rolls over in her sleep and punctures a lung?"

[Anika Sloan]

"That it was a damn good fight," she said with a sagenod.

[Gemma Sloan]

Ignata dragged herself to her feet, "Come on. If I have to grab you by the scruff of that training suit, I will."

[Anika Sloan]

"Really, Iggy, I'm fine. Stop your worrying."

[Gemma Sloan]

Ignata's eye so narrowed a little, "Your other option is to have me watching you like a hawk until *I'm* sure you're okay."

[Anika Sloan]

"I...can't say I'd really be a fan of that. You're fun and all, but I like to have my privacy. Lots of things to get into, after all," she said with a wink.

[Gemma Sloan]

"Yes. Lots of 'hanging out'. I heard."

[Anika Sloan]

She gives an 'innocent' smile. "Well, I don't have classes or really anything to do besides make sure you're safe. And you're pretty safe from what I can tell. Soooo...I hang out."

[Gemma Sloan]

"There are worse things you could do with your time. Just be careful. I'd hate to have to maul anyone."

[Anika Sloan]

Anika once again rolls her eyes. "I can take care of myself. I'm a big girl. I promise, mom."

[Gemma Sloan]

"We just want to look out for you as much as you look out for us, that's all."

[Anika Sloan]

"Well, I'm the one that's supposed to look after YOU guys. That's what big sisters do, after all," she said with a wink.
