"Simulations are useful, but only to an extent. Physical objects always behave slightly differently than simulations and that is one aspect of it that I want to investigate. I suspect imperfections and random elements leading to a signal cascade play a big role in things like creativity and emotional connections."

"See these probes here, on the inside of the helmet? They, in theory, interact with the actual grey matter of the brain. That information is sent up here to this safety pin, and from there we can hook it up to some sort of translator to change the data into a format that's useable. But..."
