ASHLIE pulls up a whole bunch of technical data on one of the monitors.

"It's a liquid gel infused with crystalline quartz structures derived from the caverns underneath the mansion. It's conductive to electricity only in the milliwatt range and diffuses static electricity, making it acceptable for use in direct skin and hair contact. It 80% perfluocarbon, allowing humans to breathe it with sufficient breath control and in emergency situations can be mixed with DMSO and nutrients to sustain humans is necessary. It is a combination of several designs." she says, pulling up three different tech-specs. "Liquid breathing technology used for deep-sea operations, stasis life-support and telepathically receptive materials. The former two were abandoned due to various factors making them unsuitable for their original purpose and the later was used in Professor Xavier's original Cerebro design."
