Feeling Dangerous

"Oh, fuck," Will said, shortly before he was punched REALLY HARD in the jaw, sending him sprawling to the ground again.

"And the floor. Great. Sara, I wish you had gone a little harder sparring in the DR so I knew what to do here," he grumbled, staggering to his feet and trying to stay light on his toes, mobile, waiting for something to dodge.

"What a pitiful opponent." the bare-chested man growls and stomps towards Will.

"I think you'll find me too much to handle," Will said leaping for the man's upper torso, flattening out and expanding, with the goal of wrapping around him like a blanket.

The man stomps on the ground again, this time raising the floor underneath his other foot, catapulting himself up and over Will, who instead wraps himself around the newly created metal pillar. The man lands and metal slams out perpendicularly from the pillar, pitching the Will-blanket up like a tent.

"Maybe later." the man smirks as the outgrowths of metal slide back into the ground.

Will coughed as he landed on the ground, and stood back up. He didn't rush right at the guy this time, though--he instead began slowly approaching, walking in a spiral pattern and shifting directions as he slowly closed his ground.

The man tries to catch Will with spikes from the floor a couple times but it's more part of sizing him up since they're fairly easy to avoid. When they're a couple feet away from each other he suddenly lunges at Will with a kick that arcs down, heel aimed at Will's shoulder.

Will attempted something new, SHIFTING to the right rather than stepping to the right. That is, the shoulder that WAS in the way of the kick would collapse into the center of his mass, emerging the other side, with the rest of his body shifting to match.

Never having tried this before, there was a better-than-even chance he'd just end up leaving an opening or, for that matter, tripping and falling, but hey, that's what practice is for, right?

The man's foot comes down on empty air and hits the ground at an awkward angle. He still manages to use that to shove a metal foot out of the ground in front of Will to kick him backwards several yards.

Will had found himself facing the wrong way thanks to the complexity of his spin move, and that was more than enough for the dude's metal foot to kick him away.

"You know, this really isn't fair," Will said, from his new position, sprawled on the ground.

"Seems fine to me." the man chuckles to himself as he walks towards Will, cracking his knuckles.

"Alright, then, let's see what you can do," Will said, drawing himself to his feet and charging at the guy again.

This time, however, he rapidly shrunk down, hoping that a smaller target would be harder to hit.

And he was correct. Though now he'd find himself dodging pillars shooting up around him as he charges.

Dodging was something he was used to, and could work with. Sure, it would take longer for him to get TO the dude, but it's better than being slammed all over the place.

"Score one for finesse!" Will cackled, closing the gap.

When he gets closer the man seems to change tactics and instead aims to just punt Will across the arena the old fashioned way. By kicking at him like a soccer-ball.

Will responded by increasing in size and mass---and DECREASING in solidity.

The idea would be that that the dude's foot would get stuck in a rapidly growing Will, massively throwing off his sense of balance and keeping him from going anywhere.

It does indeed catch his foot inside of him, catching him by surprise while he struggles to stay on his other leg.

Will took this opportunity to grow a third arm, and then smash it REALLY HARD into the dude's face.

It sends the guy flying backwards, which does pull his leg free but also sends him sprawling on the ground with a bloody nose. He scoops up some of the Will-goop still stuck to his leg and looks at it quizzically in the palm of his hand. Then he shrugs and punches the goop in his palm. That makes a hand erupt from Will's chest that punches him in the face.

"Oy!" Will said, and then he didn't say anything else, because he got punched in the face.

"That was strangely involuntary", Will said, focusing to try to to, you know, not let that happen again, as he angrily barreled forward.

The fist, oddly, doesn't seem to be strictly speaking part of him. It just seems to be made from the same general material. At least until it disappears again just like the metal protrusions had disappeared back into the floor and wall. Meanwhile the man just punches into the goop in his hand again, this time a fist shooting from one of Will's legs and punching the other one.

Will sprawled and fell to the ground. "Where the hell did the computer get THIS powerset from?" Will complained, continuing to crawl forward, wincing.

Meanwhile the man runs towards Will to aim a regular kick at his head.

Will, having expected more punches from inside his own body, was not prepared for a REGULAR kick. He, at the last moment, tried to convert his arms into springs to launch himself up in the air, but that had, at best, a 50/50 chance of working.

As Will sproings away the man still manages to get his parting kick in, which sends Will careening off course, spiraling through the air before landing rather unceremoniously on the ground.

Apparently the program is not set up for rounds or breaks and Will is knocked airborne again by a metal fist punching out from the ground underneath him.

"Gah!" Will cried, flying up with the punch, before falling in a heap on the floor again.

Slowly, very slowly, he crawled back to his feet, unstably.

"Are you going to fight back at all?" the man taunts him as he makes his way over to Will, waiting for him to pull himself to his feet before throwing a regular punch at his jaw.

"What do you think I've BEEN doing?" Will complained, trying to duck under the punch and ram his shoulder into the dude's midsection. He was still slow and groggy from the beatdown, however.

The man takes the tackle with only a minor grunt, then wraps his arms around Will's midsection and heaves him over his shoulder and throws him down on the ground.

The still unnamed man takes a step back and punches the ground with both hands. The ground underneath Will and the nearby wall erupt into large metal fists that slam into each other at an angle with Will caught between them.

"OK, computer, that's enough. End program," he squeaked out.

Meanwhile the two pillars retract slightly before punching into each other again and squishing Will into paste.

The man continues to toss Will around the arena for another 3 minutes and 10 seconds before the simulation finally ends and the room returns to it's empty state.

"Program complete. Have a nice day."

Will just lay there for a few minutes, trying to regain his composure.
