"I don't have much in the way of capacity for physical confrontation, so no worries there."

[Nailah Weaver]

"That doesn't necessarily mean much. If someone loses on the Astral plane they aren't going to be in much of a condition to punch you." she smirks faintly.

[Alexander Kokinos]

"True, but immediate physical proximity also isn't required for those sorts of scraps."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Depends on your talent and how good you are, I suppose, but I only have a rough idea of those things by association."

[Alexander Kokinos]

"I might have the talent. What I don't have yet is sufficient training to really get into distance fights. Doing things like that without the training is asking to have your psyche destroyed at least based on what I was taught."

[Nailah Weaver]

She gives a slight shrug. "That's probably true. And when it comes to range you probably won't find any better tutor than Sam."

[Alexander Kokinos]

"Yet another reason for me to come here."

[Nailah Weaver]

"You feel your tutor in Rome couldn't take you any further?"

[Alexander Kokinos]

"She was good, but she's no Samantha McManus. It was her idea actually that I attend this specific university."

[Nailah Weaver]

It's probably a good thing that he can't see her because she's trying hard not to laugh (which incidentally tells her that this glass of wine should probably be the last one tonight)

"Now if only our academic reputation was that good." she chuckles.

[Alexander Kokinos]

"I wouldn't say the academic reputation is bad. It just doesn't really stand out."

[Nailah Weaver]

"In some regards we even do, though towards the general populace it is still tainted by being a school for mutants."

[Alexander Kokinos]

"That's a generations long hurdle though."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Well, either way we're the most reputable mutant college around for better or worse."

[Alexander Kokinos]

"That also helps. The college was willing to work with me on living arrangements as well, which made a big difference."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I like to imagine we're generally more open towards unusual accommodations."

[Alexander Kokinos]

"Indeed. And living in the campus apartments is proving to be exactly what I needed."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Accommodating but independent enough that you don't feel enfeebled?"

[Alexander Kokinos]

"Yes. And a living space that I have sole control over. Very important for me. I've done the roommate thing before. I didn't work out particularly well."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I'd imagine."

[Alexander Kokinos]

He nodded, "Well, I should probably get out of here and get some fresh air. It was a pleasure talking to you, Professor Weaver."

[Nailah Weaver]

"<Take care, Mr. Kokinos.>"

[Alexander Kokinos]

"<I will. You take care too.>" He got up and slowly made his way in the direction of the exit, managing to get jostled only a few times.
