During the convocation

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan grumbled as he walked through the dorms, stopping outside his door to fish his keys out of his pocket.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Hi" Rachel said stopping casually outside of her door "I see we're neighbors"

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Who, me? Nah, I'm just breaking in here because I hear they have cool stuff," Ryan smirked, unlocking the door. He left it open as he walked toward the bathroom, grabbing for a towel. "While you're up here, do you think you could give me a hand?"

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Sure thing" Rachel said, following him into his dorm room.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Thanks," Ryan said, handing her the towel. "I think I got it, but I can't be sure. Just make sure there's no more beer on my wings."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Can do" Rachel said, gently wiping the towel over his wings, far more than was needed to get the bit of beer he'd missed "So, is Bear your girlfriend?"

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Bear? Nah. We tried that, but it didn't pan out. She's just a really good friend." With quiiiiiiiite a few benefits.

Just as outside, Ryan shivered as she stroked his wings, but didn't make any move to try to get her to stop, even though she obviously should have gotten them dry by now.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Cool" Rachel said as she dropped all pretenses of wiping his wings dry and ran a hand down the center of his back.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Aaaahhh..." Ryan gave a little hissing cry of surprise as she did, but still didn't try to stop her. He glanced back over his shoulder at her. "Getting your research started a little early?" he asked, smirking.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Yep" she replied, taking a step closer as she ran a finger lightly over the places where his wings joined his back. As she did so, she couldn't help but reach out with her power, trying to understand how his wings connected into his body, even though she did enjoy touching him on a purely sensual level as well.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan stiffened slightly when she reached the base of his wings, but his only response was to spread his wings more, allowing her better access. "Finding anything... interesting? Or does this bear for more in-depth research?"

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Oh, this will definately require more research" Rachel said, running her nails lightly down his back.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan smirked, then turned around. "Well, now, I suppose that this is where we negotiate a price for access to the specimen," he teased, tracing his fingers lightly along her jaw.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"What do you consider a reasonable offer?" Rachel asked, smirking back.

[Ryan Gabriel]

In answer, Ryan just pulled her in and kissed her, his arm wrapped around her back.

Rachel kissed him back, slowly and skillfully.

Her skill was matched by Ryan's as he kissed her, running his fingers down her back with his free hand. "This is a good start, I think," he murmured, his lips slipping down to her neck.

"Is that all you're asking for?" she asked, before biting gently on his collar bone.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Not on your life," Ryan growled, scooping her up and carrying her toward his bedroom.

Yep, very good upper body strength Rachel thought, giggling a little as he carried her to the bedroom.

"Now... I think it's time to talk business," Ryan chuckled, kicking the door shut behind him.

"So, was that an acceptable offer?" she asked, smirking as she lay down next to him.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Well, I'm sure there are a few fine details to iron out, but the proposal seems well thought out and mutually beneficial," Ryan chuckled. "Perhaps we can iron out the details over drinks? And no, not that stuff that they were calling beer down at the convocation."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"I'll consider it." Rachel said, pulling her sweater back on.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan chuckled, reaching for his pants and slipping back into them. "Well, consider quickly. If you get me a little liquored up, I might do something silly like give you a better deal than I have to," he teased.

[Rachel O'Brien]

Rachel smirked and smoothed her hair "I'll remember that."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Well, I'll just put it this way. I'm going to be down at the bar for a while. So if anyone would care to join me, that's where I'll be," he said, looking in his drawer for a new shirt.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Sounds like a plan. I'm going to go back to the party for a bit, but I'll head over there later."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Sounds good. See if you can spill a beer on Charlie for me."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"I'll do my best." Rachel said, heading out the door to freshen up a bit before she returned to the party.
