Sept 2: Security Office

After going to his room to print the protest leader's photo, Maddie entered the Security Office.

The security office looks very much like an actual police station, since of course the campus security's work is essentially police work. The people employed here are not actual city of London police, however, and they are wearing uniforms that make them look like police but are careful to make them distinct from the city's bobbies.

Madrox's first contact with a security officer is likely at the main desk, which dominates the security office lobby. A man sits behind the desk, answering phones and waiting for people like Madrox to arrive.

He's middle aged with graying blond hair. "Can I help you, young man?" His nametag says "Security Officer Taylor"

"The protesters at the gate are an exact demographic representation of the area. I find that suspicious, don't you?"

Taylor raises a brow. "Seems odd, sure enough. Not really a matter to bring to the security office though. Sounds like it was done for political reasons, that's legal enough, if a bit over the top."

He put the photo on the desk.

"Could you at least run him through the database?"

Taylor takes the photo, looking it over and then feeding it into a computer scanner. "Who's this then? One of the protesters?"

"Well, most protests do have a leader. Hmmm... nothing's coming up in the criminal database. Looks like he's not done any crimes."

"Heh, well, I suppose I can, but only because we're not busy, aye? It's probably nothing." Nevertheless, officer Taylor connects to the main X-Men database, running a much more intensive image search.

"You seem like a good kid. Come to find glory and fortune as an X-Man?" He cocks his head to the side. "Hey now, looks like there was a hit. Didn't expect to find anything."

Taylor leans forward to read the screen as the brings up the search hit.

He looked on as Officer Taylor got a hit.

"Hmmm, he's not really much of a bigwig or anything. Not surprised to see him in a protest, he's in some group called 'The Alliance of Man', they're a political group that's been making noise lately."

Taylor nods. "We're here to help. Just be careful out there, don't start any trouble if you can help it."

He headed out.
