The North section of the campus is often seen as the more 'student friendly' section. It houses the dorms, the Quad, and many of the more popular buildings such as the XUB. Tucked against the Thames, it sits just South of London's great river, and is quite closed off from the city. There are only a few roads that lead into the North Campus, and the campus itself has very little area open to vehicle traffic. Fences or raised concrete barriers separate most of the North campus from easy access to the city, keeping a private and safe feel for the students.

Common buildings to visit in the North Campus include: The Xub, The Libraries, The Dining Hall, The Dorms, and any classroom or academic department relating to normal college classes.
