I9dt: Feeling like death

Trev shuffled into the infirmary looking like hell. He'd made out with a complete stranger when he went out drinking alone a few nights ago, and that nameless girl--since she gave him a fake number--was going to be his convenient scapegoat for making him sicker than a dog right now. His eyes were watery, his nose stuffed totally but still running, and his voice sounded like painful whisper. He signed in and collapsed into a chair in the waiting room with a groan.

Trev was called back into an examining room, and after a few minutes Isabel came in.

"Hi," he croaked as he hopped up onto the exam table. Or tried to rather. Hewas a bit distracted by the hot girl who he was trying hard not to stare at, and managed to slip off the edge awkwardly and take a bunch of the paper from the table down with him.

"Shit. Sorry. Making a mess," he said, turning beet red and trying to smooth out the paper on the table.

"Its ok." Isabel said, helping him get things straightened out "I'm Isabel. I'm one of the student healers here. It sounds like you have a virus, and I can deal with that more effectively than conventional treatments can."

Trev's eyes widened in disbelief, as he could suddenly breathe through his nose again, and even felt stronger and less tired. "Holy shit! He exclaimed. "That's incredible! Thank you so much! Oh man...this is nothing like McKillme back at U of I."

"Oh you totally should," he said, his voice clear and happy, "You're worlds better than those crappy doctors at a student health center. Hell, you're better than pretty much every doctor ever. So you're able to just like...kill disease and stuff, or what?"

He left a few seconds pause before he kicked himself mentally, "Of course you probably know that from the chart already,"he smirked nervously.

Trev hopped down from the exam table. His stomach fluttering nervously as he pondered doing something rash.

"So I know this sounds kinda odd, but I wanna thank you for this. I was totally thinking I'd feel like crap for a week, but now I'm feeling great so uh...would you want to grab coffee some time?"

It took far too much restraint for trev to not blurt out "Really?!" like an excited child, but he did it.

"Great! I'll see you there! Say...4?" he grinned happily.
