A Backdated Scene

Roland smiled, and slowly drew Sean's sword out of his hand.

"And as long as you remember that, we'll make sure you come out alright. Just remember -- if you live by the sword, you die by it. No matter how good you are. It happens to all of us."

[Sean Hall]

"Don't often hear about mages or X-Men dying of old age," Sean said eyeing Roland as he removed Sean's blade from his hand, "That's gotta smart."

[Roland Sackville]

"I'm used to it. And it makes an effective demonstration.

Though I should go to the infirmary at some point to get it checked out."

"You've got a flair for the dramatic, Professor," Sean smiled, "You sure you don't want me to take a look at it?"

[Roland Sackville]

"Nah, it's all bleeding and stuff. No big deal," he chuckled.

"Thought I should at least offer, proper manners and all," Sean smiled.

"Ah, yes, manners. So confusing."
