"Maybe I do." Megan said with a chuckle "Still, its fun to talk about. I'm all done, we just need to let the dye set. Would you like a magazine, or are you afraid of rotting your mind?"

Sometime later, Megan came over and started to remove the foil from Nailah's hair.

"Please tell me that's just the colour of the bleaching dye..."

"Oh my God!" Megan said, her face growing ever more distressed as she uncovered more of Nailah's hair "I don't know how this could have happened! I've never seen a reaction like this....I'll rinse it out, and see what can be done to fix it."

"Yes, I....I'm so, so, sorry." Megan said "I swear, I've never seen this happen. There must have been some strange reaction, or no, I couldn't have mixed it that wrongly. Maybe it just looks black, and some of it will rinse out."

"I'm sorry." Megan said again, sounding as if she was almost in shock "The dye took really well, I don't think it will rinse out."

"Ok, Ok." Megan said "We can fix this. I could try stripping out the dye, but that would probably fry your hair, and make it really brittle."

"I'm just running through the options!" Megan wailed "I can't cut it out, you'd look like you have mange. And I doubt you want to look like a cancer survivor, which you would if I cut it all off. I'm afraid that your least worst might be to dye it all black."
