Summer I9DT: the Loudmouth has a normal date?

Trev, unusually for him, arrived early--very early--for what he at least was calling a date. He was wearing a pair of trendy jeans and a short sleeve button down that did a pretty good job of hiding his beer gut, and unlike at the infirmary, had actually bothered to shave this morning (instead of rocking a week's worth of stubble). He sat down on a bench in the park where he could keep a decent eye on most of the small park and browsed the Internet casually on his phone, occasionally looking around and hoping he didn't completely regret asking a stranger out on a date withou remembering to get her number.

Isabel, still mulling over her encounter with the mysterious stranger, remembered that she was supposed to meet someone, and headed over to where Trev was sitting.

Trev looked up from his phone and practically hopped to his feet. "Hey!" he smiled. "I was starting to worry when I realized I was too stupid to ask for your number when I invited you out. How are you?"

"Today? I want to buy you coffee and get to know the nice girl who turned what I thought was going to be a week of hacking up a lung into a day." he smiled cheerfully. "As for the rest? History major. I wanted to teach at one point...not sure if I still want to or not. It gets complicated when you're studying in a different country than you might want to teach," he shrugged. "I figure it's a decent degree that'll get me a job almost anywhere with a little luck, you know?"

Trev stepped up to the counter and ordered himself a drink before stepping aside to let Isabel order. He paid the young girl behind the counter, who said the drinks would be brought out to them in a little while.

Looking around, he spotted a free table in the corner and moved towards it. "I might join the X-Teams. Seems like there's always a need for it, and I could certainly use the exercise that training gives."

Trev smiled nervously, and took a sip of his coffee.

"So...uh...you living in the dorms or apartments next year?" he asked, really reaching now. He had a sinking feeling in his stomach.
