I10DT: Lunchtime Doodling

Haley sat in the cafeteria with a now mostly eaten tray of food (there was a lot too--seriously, where did she PUT that stuff?) her phone sitting on the table next to a notebook that she was doodling in furiously, a slight smile on her face. She was alone--she didn't seem to know all that many people well enough to really want to eat lunch with any of them and seemed completely pre-occuppied with her drawing....which seemed mostly to consist of a lot of hearts and flowers surrounding a bigger heart with A & H written in the middle of it.

Brigid left the lunch line after loading up her tray. Her eyes narrowed as she spotted Haley.

It was really quite good--like something you'd see in a calligraphy shop almost. The A and the H in the heart intertwined with vines and flowers and hearts...

Sensing someone standing near her Haley turned around and smiled innocently. "Hi Brigid. What's up?"

"Okay. First of all, who the fuck are you? I know two things about you: your name, and that you're already pissing me off. So back the fuck off," Haley said, closing the notebook and looking up at Brigid with daggers in her eyes. "Second, I don't see your name tatooed on him, or his Facebook wall, so maybe instead of being a bitch to me, you should go club him and carry him over your shoulder back to your cave."

Haley didn't seem to be aware that where Brigid came from, that may actually happen on occasion.

Empty chairs at all of the nearby tables started to tremble violently , and if looks could kill, Brigid would have keeled over on the spot. Haley rose from her seat to her full, intimidating, not-quite-five-foot height and glared upwards at Brigid.

"Bitch! I am almost fifteen fucking years old! Don't you dare fucking dare call me that!"

The two small glasses that had been sitting on Haley's tray shattered as if to punctuate the sentence.

Brigid took a deep breath, pulled off her glasses and put them into her pocket.

Then, she grabbed at Haley's shoulders and hoisted her up to eye level.

"Don't start with me..."

And that was when Brigid headbutted Haley. Hard.

"You crazy bitch!" she screamed, shattering even more glassware in the cafeteria, "What the fuck is wrong with you!!!"

If Haley wasn't gripping her head, almost dizzy from the pain she'd be punching, kicking, slapping, and probably throwing her TK around. At this point she wasn't sure if the chorus of other students chanting "Fight!" was just her imagination, her TP kicking in, or was actually happening.

Haley finally took her hand away from her throbbing forehead, glaring at Brigid. "Bitch, YOU came up to me and started talking shit and you don't even KNOW me!"

Brigid would likely start to feel like something was pulling her up off the floor. She was so pissed off and her head hurt so much she didn't even notice the RA rushing for them.

"Neither of you do," Zeryn growled. Brigid found herself grabbed by the back of her shirt and pulled easily into the air, and then he made a grab for Haley, doing the same thing. He twisted their shirts around his hand, the better for them not to fall out of them, as he held them up. "What is the meaning of this!" he insisted, various unkind thoughts going through his head rather loudly in Atlantean.
