Re: Soak up the sun (open)

Victoria smiled a bit. "No, I don't think there's really any risk involved in believing stories here that other people would find... unlikely." She rolled onto her back, stretching out. "But yes... sorry to add a bit of craziness to the camping trip. I hope I didn't cut into the fun with it too much."

"Nah... It was scary but it was also kinda cool that we could help." she grins a bit sheepishly.

"More than 'kinda' cool from my angle," Victoria said with a smile. "I think I'm avoiding camping for a while now, that was quite enough for me."

Victoria smirked a bit as she lay back in the sun again. "Well, don't let silly things like that stop you from doing anything," she said.

Victoria grinned. "Good girl." Behind here sunglasses she closed her eyes, letting the sun beat down on her. "Still, feels a lot better here than it does in London. I might need to start trading people for their rotations staying here."

"Not all the time, no. Doesn't really get hot, though. Cloudy a lot. And you can't get a good hamburger anywhere," Victoria said. "And the school's in the middle of a city. I love the city, but getting out of it at the end of the day is soooooo nice."

"New York seemed nice, but huge. With one of those wrist-thingies anyway, otherwise everyone would probably point and stare."

"Mmm, take it from me, you get used to the staring. After all, not all of the staring is bad," she said with a wink.

"Yeah I don't think that has happened yet." she says, though she doesn't sound nearly as pessimistic about that as she might have a couple weeks ago.

"Mmm, well, when it's not bad, they do tend to not stare as overtly, yes," Victoria said, smiling coyly back at her.

She gives bit of a shrug. "Guess it doesn't really matter anyway."

Victoria just grinned at that one. "Ohhh you're catching on so quickly. There's so much that just doesn't matter unless you let it." She sighed. "Keeping from letting it, though, is another matter entirely. Like little things like 'bloody hell, I do not want to go back to London at the end of the week.'"

Victoria smiled. "Yeah, I don't think they want any of us having enough time to be a bad influence on you lot," she said, reaching for her cigarette case. "Don't know where they got the idea that that was a risk..."
