Power Explanation: Teleportation

Kyle is capable of shooting a thin, red beam out of his right eye (similar to a laser pointer, but visible). He is capable of instantly "blinking" himself, plus his clothing and a certain amount of mass, to about a distance of 50 yards along the projected line. The instant shift is accompanied by a red flash of light, and a slightly energized feeling upon completing the jump. He achieves this by shifting into a dimension he has labeled the 'Red Zone', a form of liquidic space which possesses regenerative properties. However, remaining within without proper equipment is fatal, as it does not contain a breathable atmosphere.

Weaknesses:
-The teleportation is line-of-sight only- he can not jump where he can not see.

History:
Kyle was born outside Anaheim, California, but was relocated to live with his second cousins after his parents were killed in a car accident when he was three. He was fortunate, in that most of his new family were mutants, and genetic testing on Kyle revealed his own buried X-gene potential.

When Kyle turned seven, his family heeded a call for repatriation of mutants in Genosha, and he relocated to the island nation, where he has been living since. Taking the last name of his new family, he recently applied to attend XU, a school made famous by Magneto's recent visit. He hopes to learn more about the world he has been sheltered from for most of his life.

caucasian, very athletic build, 6'2'', 200 lbs.

Kyle has brown, closely trimmed hair. His left eye has a blue iris, while his right eye is completely black.
