Primary: Dawn has a 'light field' which manifests constantly just under her skin, providing her with white, glowing eyes. This aura has the ability to filter external stimuli and regulate her own emotions, providing her with a type of environmental fearlessness- unless she specifically wills her aura off, she is incapable of fear, allowing her to do possibly dangerous acts with no hesitation. Her field also gives her a superhuman sense of balance, grace, and above average speed. Lastly, she can quickly manifest her field externally, possibly dazziling and blinding those looking at her at the time.

Limitations: Fearlessness does not exactly breed common sense. Dawn has spent, and will spend, a certain amount of time in the infirmary.

Personality: Her power had manifested shortly after she was born- as such, her fearlessness has become a core part of her being. She is very direct- beating around the bush does not occur to her often. She is friendly and personable, especially when she is dragging her friends off to try something new and frightening. Every once in a while, she forces her field off, just to experience fear in a small, measured dose.

Background: Dawn is a third generation Japanese immigrant, growing up in San Francisco. Her mutancy manifesting as an infant was no surprise- several of her cousins and close relatives had displayed some form of mutation, as well as her grandmother. She grew up fairly wild, as expected, causing no small amount of loving stress from her parents. It was almost a relief then when she was accepted into XU, and given a chance to be daring and fearless under more controlled circumstances.

Dawn knows a few words and phrases in Japanese, although she could not be considered fluent- she grew up with English in her home, much to the dismay of her grandparents.

Description: Athletic, with several accident scars visible on her arms and legs. Black hair and hazel eyes, often obscured by a glow due to her light field. When she fully externalizes her field, it appears as a sphere of light, centered on her stomach and enveloping her entire body.
