Power: density control powers, split between two bodies.

Jacobi is capable of splitting into two almost identical bodies, of which one, named Jake ("Heavyweight"), can increase his density, and the other, named Cobi ("Lightweight"), can reduce his density.

Jake is capable of increasing his mass and density, becoming increasingly tougher and invulnerable as he goes. At his maximum level, he is slightly larger than normal, his skin appears slightly white and pale, and his increased muscle density confers a level of superhuman strength. In addition, he is capable of shrugging off most physical blows.

Cobi is capable of decreasing his mass and density, becoming increasingly less opaque and substantial. At his maximum level, he is able to phase through most matter and even certain energy shields.

Common to both Jake and Cobi is a minor personal TK ability- in Jake's case, it allows him to move his massive weight at a somewhat normal speed and prevent the destruction of whatever he comes into contact with unintentionally, and in Cobi's case, it allows him to fly.

There is a danger if Jake and Cobi are apart for too long- after around a day apart, their powers start to fade. After a couple of days, They start feeling and looking very sickly, and they are in danger of serious injury after a three or more days.

Personality: Jacob himself is fairly well adjusted: a friendly, average, even keel kind of guy. However, when he activates his power and splits into Jake and Cobi, there is a radical personality shift. Jake is very cool, quiet, and logical, while Cobi is best described as impulsive, rash, and hotheaded. Perhaps due to the personality gap, Jake and Cobi intensely dislike each other, and often fall to arguing unless something else grabs their attention. When the two merge back together, Jacobi is disoriented for a period of time, as he reconciles the different experiences of the two bodies back into one coherent being.

Description: Lean, 6'0'', 185 lbs. short curly brown hair as Jacobi, straight, solid grey hair as Jake, whispy, windblown white hair as Cobi.

Background: Jacob Cohen Grew up in Brooklyn, New York, to an old Jewish family. His life was rather regular until his ninth year, when a car accident caused the stress needed to force his mutation active- Suddenly, his parents were blessed with an additional son.

It wasn’t until a couple days afterward that the density powers began to manifest themselves in a rather uncontrollable fashion. His parents, rightly concerned, enrolled him in the Academy of Tomorrow, where he was successful in controlling the basics of his two bodies after a period of several months.

After graduation, he decided to take the time to expand his control of his powers, to add to the AoT training.

He also worked on obtaining a scholarship, which proved successful when he obtained acceptance to the Xavier University in London.

So, Cryo, Thermic, and Multiple Man is too many powers. Not that we're worried about being able to 'handle' the character or you abusing it, but rather that it blocks out a lot of really popular options for other people to make characters unless they want to kind of be a copycat.

Therefore, my suggestion is this. From the app it seems like your main interest here is that you have the Cryo/Therm split, and that those changes induce a personality change. Which is a lot like Dom, and I like it. How about the character is a Cryo/Therm elemental, can transform into a Fire or Ice state, with the associated personality change, but no splitting into multiple bodies. That sound good, or are you actually more attached to the multiple-man aspect?

Hmm.. I was kinda focusing more on the Multiple Man/Duo Damsel aspect.

Would a different powerset be a good compromise? Something not as populat as Fire/ice control?

In that case, yeah, something less popular and standout than fire/ice. Maybe telepathy for one and TK for the other? Flight vrs Teleportation? One aspect a bruiser with a healing factor and the other a telepath, telekinetic, or some other more mental power?

I like this much better. Does the heavier twin's minor TK allow him to not fall through floors and the like? I'd suggest adding this if you haven't, because otherwise it might be a big pain.

Other than that I don't see any real problems.

p.s. don't forget you don't need to have him be a "late arrival", he can have made it to his classes etc. already. Unless you really want him to be late, but it's up to you.
