Power: Raven is, like, totally a witch! Wicca power! Because life, y'know? Life is always, y'know, like, pain, and, like, suffering? And stuff?
She brews potions (mostly unsuccessfully), she casts hexes (ALWAYS unsuccessfully), she makes small poppety-voodoo things from people's blood and hair and things, she makes her own candles (...mostly unsuccessfully), and so on.
Personality: Life is pain. Life is suffering. I mean, like, don't you, like, see how there's, like, bad stuff? In the world? Y'know? And, like, how things would be better, like, if there wasn't, but, like, there totally is? Y'know?

Trini was your regular rich, somewhat spoiled sub-urban teenager rebelling against her parents by picking up some kind of Wiccan-inspired belief system--she thinks that it's her belief that is causing her abilities, but, in actuality, that's all window dressing for a small amount of physiopsychic manipulation--she has the ability to use biological cantrips to influence their origins--a love potion with the tears of the person involved, for instance. She believes her power comes from chanting and ritual and expensive shoes, but that is entirely secondary. Her mutation didn't really change things much and since she seemed to be doing okay (and wasn't obviously a mutant) her parents didn't really consider sending her to Xavier's or the Academy of Tomorrow so she stayed at her regular highschool. There she made friends with another mutant, Kimberly Richmond and after graduation the two decided to attend Xavier's University in London.
