"You've already seen the benefit package," he chuckled.

"Sorry, but as appealing as being your arm candy is......" Jubilee replied, still teasing "I think I'll stick with the X-men. I like the program I'm building at XU."

[Michael Asters]

"Did I mention the personal spa with your hand-picked servants? That's usually a selling point."

[Jubilation Lee]

"Mmmmm,that does have a certain appeal, but I don't trust all those worshipful Genoshean girls around you." Jubilee replied "I don't trust a lot of the boys, come to think of it."

[Michael Asters]

"Mmm... so if we join forces, I have to abandon my harem? The girls will be crushed," he teased.

[Jubilation Lee]

"They'll deal." Jubilee said, a dangerous glint in her eye.

[Michael Asters]

"Why, Ms. Lee, have I ever mentioned just how attractive jealousy looks on you?" he teased.

[Jubilation Lee]

"Well, I can hardly keep you properly distracted if you're focusing your attention elsewhere."

[Michael Asters]

"Well, I hardly want to sabotage your good job," he admitted. "So perhaps I should just keep my attention focused."

[Jubilation Lee]

"That sounds like an excellent idea." she replied, covering his hand with her own.

[Michael Asters]

He smiled squeezing her hand, suddenly aware that people were staring at them. It didn't bother him, but it was a little amusing. He tiled his head, regarding her with an affectionate smile. "I realize it's been discussed, but it wasn't exactly a dignified conversation on it..." He brought her hand up, brushing a kiss over her knuckles. "When this is all over," he said, giving an all encompassing gesture with his eyes, "Marry me."

"Yes." she said, looking at him with love filled yes "Yes, I will."

[Michael Asters]

Cassiel just smiled, lifting her fingers to his lips again. "And that makes all of this headache worth it."

[Jubilation Lee]

"Yeah, I know." Jubilee said with a teasing smile "So, am I going to get a ring out of this?"

[Michael Asters]

He glanced down at her hand again. "Like that one?" And, sure enough, there was a ring on her finger, which... well, darn, how long had it been there without her noticing it?"

[Jubilation Lee]

"Show off." Jubilee said, smiling at him fondly.

[Michael Asters]

"I really thought all the people looking at your hand at the office today would have given it away," he teased.

[Jubilation Lee]

"You're not supposed to put the ring on until after I've said yes." Jubilee said, giving his hand a little squeeze.

[Michael Asters]

"And if you'd said no, you never would have even noticed it was there," he teased.

[Jubilation Lee]

"Its a good thing that I said yes, then." Jubilee replied "And you're still showing off." she added, as their food arrived.

[Michael Asters]

"And you love it," he confirmed, winking at her.

[Jubilation Lee]

"If I didn't, I would I still be here?" Jubilee asked as she took a bite of her food.

[Michael Asters]

"Well it is, apparently, your duty after all," he teased.

[Jubilation Lee]

"True, but that doesn't mean it has to be an unpleasant duty."

[Michael Asters]

"I'll have to do my best to alleviate the discomfort this situation is going to cause you," he chuckled.

[Jubilation Lee]

"I thought you were the cause of the discomfort." Jubilee said, blushing a little.

[Michael Asters]

"Any discomfort I might be causing you, I'm convinced is a thoroughly pleasant nature," Cassiel teased.

[Jubilation Lee]

"I can neither confirm nor deny that at this time."

[Michael Asters]

"That's all right. I'll just confirm it later."

[Jubilation Lee]

"Is that a threat or a promise?"

[Michael Asters]

"Mmmm... a little of both, I think."

[Jubilation Lee]

"This would be why I love you." Jubilee said with a delighted shudder.

[Michael Asters]

"Mmm... now I know that there's more to it than me doing delicious things to you while you're in some way helpless."

[Jubilation Lee]

"Of course there is." Jubilee said, now really blushing "But that is always a good place to start."
