The Day Before Thanksgiving: Buffalo-Niagara Airport

[Will Stanton]

Will trudged off the plane after his super-long layover, blurry eyed and sleepy, his hair brown, his body--not in shape. Back in the 'please the family' form.

[Sara Stanton]

Standing outside the Arrival gate are Onyx and Sara. Sara is wearing the necklace and holding a piece of cardboard tucked under her arm as she looks for a speck of green in the crowd.

[Will Stanton]

Will looked around...yup, airport was just as he remembered it...McDonalds, Starbucks, drug store, Starbucks, luggage store, food court, Starbucks, Starbucks, Sara & Onyx, Starbucks, McDonalds....

Wait a tick...

Will stopped in the flow of traffic, staring across the concourse.

[Sara Stanton]

Sara continues to glance through the masses, her eyes stopping on the brown-haired guy who just stopped walking for a second before continueing on. A moment later her view snaps back to him and her face lights up into an apologetic smile and she waves before raising the piece of cardboard that reads I'm sorry! in thick letters. "Will!"

[Will Stanton]

Will shakes his head once, twice, three times...and starts walking over. "S--sara? And Onyx, too?"

[Sara Stanton]

"Surprise!" she beams. "We thought you might be sad if we blew our first Thanksgiving because I made a huge mistake..." she says, sounding hopeful.

[Will Stanton]

"Our...first? Mistake?" he said, tilting his head to the side.

[Sara Stanton]

"Yes. I... I never should have let you go, Will."

[Will Stanton]

"Sara....are you...are you sure?" he asked, hesitantly.

[Sara Stanton]

She nods. "I didn't come acros the Atlantic on a whim." A pause. "Okay, maybe I did, but I'm sure."

[Will Stanton]

Will paused, and looked between the two of them. "And...it's all OK? And everything?"

[Sara Stanton]

"I guess it won't all be magically fixed, but I want us to work through that with each other, not against. The last two weeks were the worst in my life and when I met the other Sara and she had found this..." she holds up the necklace "... well it looked like the light at the end of the tunnel."

[Will Stanton]

Will just stared at the necklace. "And...you're willing...I mean, we're gonna try to work through everything? I mean, everything?"

[Sara Stanton]

Sara just nods before putting her hands on Will's cheeks and lifts up his head to look at her before she kisses him.

[Will Stanton]

Will, slowly at first, and then more and more desperately, returned the kiss, holding Sara and lifting her up, twirling around a bit in the concourse.

[Sara Stanton]

Wrapping her arms around Will's neck she holds on to him, a few tears of happiness running down her face as she throws herself into the kiss.

[Will Stanton]

Will finally broke the kiss, needing oxygen, but still kept Sara in his arms. "If you think I'm putting you down again..." he chuckled through some tears.

[Sara Stanton]

"Please don't." she sniffs, smiling brightly.

[Will Stanton]

"You are not walking anywhere for the rest of your LIFE, I am gonna keep you on my shoulder like a freaking parrot," he sniffled.

[Sara Stanton]

"Even when I get all big?" she smiles softly, wrapping her legs around Will's waist.

[Will Stanton]

"Even if you got so big I'd have to roll you everywhere," he smiled, before, after a moment, stretching out his other arm and wrapping it around Onyx, bringing her in. "Let's go see if we can't find my rental car, huh? All three of us..."

[Onyx]

Onyx just smiles at Will and Sara, "Yes, ma'am."

[Will Stanton]

Will paused for a second. "You want to be part of Thanksgiving, Onyx? We always make enough food for an army. We'd love to have you there...or, at least, I would."

[Onyx]

"If it's alright with my Mistress, ma'am."

[Will Stanton]

"Of course it is," he smiled, looking up at a nodding Sara. "Isn't it?"

[Sara Stanton]

"Of course it is. I didn't just bring you along for the travel convenience." she smiles at Onyx. "If we're going to do this we might as well do it right with all of our weird little family."

[Will Stanton]

Will looked back and forth between them. "Our weird little family, huh?"

[Sara Stanton]

"Well that's what we are, right?" she looks at the two of them, letting go of Will with one arm to put it around Onyx.

[Will Stanton]

"Well, we've got a bit of a car ride to talk about it, but if you're both happy with it..." he trailed off, smiling.

[Sara Stanton]

"Just go get the car." she chuckles, kissing Will's cheek.
