Mountain Lakes Camp - Strange things happen at night

[Alex Carpenter]

Alex couldn't help laughing again. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry. Seriously, I'm sorry. Here, go ahead and smack me. I earned it," he said, grinning as he turned so his cheek was more accessible.

[Kay Haddock]

"Fine!" she says and kicks his shin.

[Alex Carpenter]

"Ow!" Alex yelped, jumping back and grabbing his shin. He looked like he wanted to keep laughing, but dammit that HURT. "There, feel better now?"

[Kay Haddock]

"A little, yeah." she admits.

[Brigid Plunder]

"Okay, I think we've got to stop hitting Alex."

[Alex Carpenter]

"Hey, if that makes her happy, that makes her happy. So what are you guys doing out here?"

[Kay Haddock]

"Looking for Victoria if you have to know."

[Brigid Plunder]

"Think she... er... stepped out for a smoke or something."

[Alex Carpenter]

"Oh. Yeah. I think our chaperon sneaked off with his girlfriend or something, caught him coming back in about a half hour ago," Alex said, rolling his eyes. He looked around. "Well, if she didn't know you were following her, she does now..."

[Kay Haddock]

"What are you talking about?"

[Brigid Plunder]

"...well, you screamed really loud."

[Kay Haddock]

"Great... maybe we should get out of here before everyone can show up and have a good laugh then..." she mumbles.

[Alex Carpenter]

"Eh, anyone comes along they'll just think I did something mean to scare you and go off on me. Then everyone's happy."

[Brigid Plunder]

"Not exactly untrue," she elbowed him with a smirk.

[Alex Carpenter]

"I wasn't trying to scare you!" he protested.

[Kay Haddock]

"Yeah well you did." she mumbles, figuring if she mentions the word 'ghost' there's only gonna be more laughter.

[Brigid Plunder]

"I think it's going to be okay."

[Alex Carpenter]

"Yeah, well, if anyone comes out looking we can always just scare them," Alex pointed out.

[Kay Haddock]

"Maybe we should just go back to our tents. I don't think Victoria's out here..."

[Brigid Plunder]

"Or if she is, she doesn't want us tagging along."

[Alex Carpenter]

"Well, she probably wouldn't want people thinking she was giving students cigarettes," Alex reasoned.

[Kay Haddock]

"Probably not, no..." If that's really all she's doing out there.
