Legion screamed as the flames engulfed him!

Most of the flat was open-plan, with no real door seperating the kitchen area, or the dining area.

There WERE two doors, locked, at the back of the flat, in the direction Faultline had gone---a normal, yet surprisingly heavy, door, and what looked like an elevator door.

Sara blinks, never having seen Bear just plain try to kill someone, even if it's 'a' Will and likely to survive. But she catches herself quick enough to follow Bear.

bear attempts to force the apparent elevator door, using a taser ball to attempt to short out the lock on it.

"The other one" didn't have any buttons--how the hell do you call this elevator?

John's door DID require some forcing--but he was a big fucking lizard man---how could anything hold HIM back?

Immediately afterwards, however, he would wish that the door had been impenetrable.

The room was dark, so it would have taken a second or two for most people to get their sight, but not John.

The....the room was filled...the room was filled with...

The COUCH. That was no couch, but a Will, on all fours, bloating unnaturally, with a second Will...seemingly attached, blending in, to form the back. Several Wills, arms and legs gone, stumps blending in, lay on the couch...as throw pillows, perhaps? The table was a Will, arms and legs bending unnaturally to force her face up and flat...

The light in the room was provided by another Will, hanging, hogtied, from the ceiling, with candles stuck deep into his flesh, providing a flickering light. Though it would be tough to see from their angle, the candles, too, were Wills, slowly melting as the flames licked down their hair. A second Will served as a sort of lamp, doubled over, her butt sticking high in the air with a lightbulb rudely slammed into it.

Another Will, her stomach bloated, was blended into the wall, hanging there, turning her face to look at John as he walked in. Her stomach was see-though, made of glass, and inside of it, two more tiny Will-mermaids swam, swimming slow spirals and flips.

In front of the table was a Will, stretched out horribly, a television screen surgically implanted into where his chest should be, wires and cables snaking out the back into an outlet on the wall. On the dresser (another Will, of course, with drawers cut into her body) were twelve more tiny Wills, each speared through the chest by a fine string, attached to one another like that.

The bookshelves were two Wills, with one Will each as each shelf, the carpet on the floor seemed to be a skinned Will, the fireplace was burning, with logs made of Wills...

..and...every...single...Will...turned....to...look...at....John.

"Sweet Jesus..." John shuddered.

He closed the door as best he could.

Home Sweet Home

Postby Melody Martens » Sun Oct 09, 2011 6:39 pm

Melody was quick to follow the group after Bear's attack, and was in fact right behind John, getting ready to help him blast open the door...She wasn't really prepared for what she saw.

She staggered backwards, her hand covering her mouth as the contents of her stomach struggled to stay where they belonged. She gave up, vomiting away from her team while she leaned her arm against a wall to support herself. "What. The. Fuck?!" she gagged.

"What? What's going on?" she asks, almost panicking from everyone's reactions alone as eyes snap back and forth between her team-mates and the thumps against the door.

As if listening to him, the door itself grew arms, and tried to hold John back.

The paint on one of the walls was beginning to peel itself off, too...and the carpet they were standing on began to move.

*ding!* went the doors of the elevator, opening itself up to the large shaft

"Oh god, oh god, oh god..." Sara babbles and rapidly backs up towards the elevator, almost falling into the shaft as she notices the lack of an actual cabin just in time.

John jumped back from the door-that-wasn't-a-door. Holding back that was a wasted effort.

"Um... guys? He's the door..." he said, beginning to freak out for once, "This is not good..."

Enough living buildings already!

The Legions were pushing against the forcefield, but Janice was tough.

She might notice that none of them seemed as strong as Will.

Then again, she might not.

Home Sweet Home

Postby Melody Martens » Mon Oct 10, 2011 5:02 pm

Melody pulled herself away from the wall as she remembered with a shudder and another wave of nausea that pretty much everything in here was alive.

"We need to get our Will and get the fuck out of here ASAP."

I fucking knew we should have just fought out in the open instead of listening to that whore. This is suicide. Preventable suicide. Will would have been fine. That guy can take almost anything.

Melody nodded at Bear, "I'll help with the surprise, Closer. How big of a boom do we want?" she asked, her eyes glowing as she cupped her hands together and started making a bomb.

"I can make that happen," she said, a weak smile creeping across her face. Melody widened her hands as a sizzling ball of energy expanded between them until it was the almost the size of a small balance ball. "Just say when...we've got maybe a minute after I let it go to get below safely."
