Bedside Manner

[Hellsmith]

"Oh, what a beautiful ruin they made of you, Nephilim." The speaker crackled as robotic arms sprung from the floor and wheeled a gurney toward Ryan's wounded form.

"Just how is Auntie Hellsmith going to be able to fix you up this time?"

[Nephilim]

"Quickly." he said, trying to cover up any vulnerability from his wounds "I want to kill those bitches."

[Hellsmith]

"Ah, that's going to be tricky. Someone knew what they were doing..."

The arms lifted him up onto the gurney.

[Nephilim]

"The Mockery and Chthonia, so yeah." he grunted.

[Hellsmith]

"Ah, such cute little names they have. We'll have to become better acquainted."

[Nephilim]

"The might be your type." he replied, smiling thinly.

[Hellsmith]

"Somehow I very much doubt that, darling," there was a dry chuckle over the speaker as Ryan was wheeled to a room full of tile and sterile instruments.

[Nephilim]

"Don't try to tell me you like your women sane." he said, managing a more genuine smile.

[Hellsmith]

"I'm rather not a people person..."

[Nephilim]

"Pity, that." he said, stretching out on the gurney.

[Hellsmith]

"Now, this may sting a bit..." She said as the robotic arms fetched implements from the tables and she began her tender ministrations upon him.

[Nephilim]

And for the second time that day, Nephilim started screaming.
