[Apophis]

Apophis, dressed for business, climbed out of a sedan somewhere in a warehouse district. The client would arrive any moment.

[Cyclone]

Just a couple of minutes later, another car rolled up. The sound of a few other motors also came near and stopped, apparently at the back of the warehouse. A green-skinned mutant stepped out of the driver's seat of the car, and Cyclone stepped out of the back.

"Another shipment already? That was fast," he said to Apophis. Not that that was a bad thing.

[Apophis]

"Our effectiveness is why you pay us, is it not?" he asked.

[Cyclone]

"I'm just saying that it's a job well done. How many?"

[Apophis]

"One rifter, three fugitives."

[Cyclone]

"All right. As always, I'd like to inspect the goods first."

[Apophis]

"Of course." He snapped his talons and his goons brought out the four captives; three men and a woman, all with bags over their heads.

[Cyclone]

He gave them all the once-over, his gaze lingering on the woman's figure a bit longer than the others.

"Good. The truck should be ready in the back," he said, gesturing to the warehouse they stood next to. His chauffeur opened the metal door, and on the opposite side of the space, there were two trucks that had been backed into loading doors. One was a troop transport, that carried a few soldiers which were now guarding the area and standing next to the back of the other truck. The second one lacked windows and seats entirely.

[Apophis]

"And as always, I'll need my... finders fee... now."

[Cyclone]

"Mmm, yes. Chloros, the money for our draconian associate, please."

The green-skinned mutant nodded and went back to the car, taking out a small but solid case with a hard outer shell. He handed it to Cyclone, who handed it to Apophis in turn. If he decided to check it, he would find stacks of £50 and £20 notes neatly bound inside of it.

[Apophis]

Apophis handed it to a henchman to look over.

"It's all here boss."

"A pleasure doing business with you," Apophis grinned greedily, motioning his people to transfer the captives..

[Cyclone]

"As ever." He strolled over to the parked trucks. "They haven't been through too much... roughhousing yet, I hope."

[Apophis]

"I always deliver my live goods physically intact," he answered, slightly offended by the implication otherwise.

[Cyclone]

"Hmm, physically, yes." He smirked. "I'll take your word." Some of the soldier grabbed the arms of the 'cargo' to guild them not-so-gently into the truck."
