There, right in the middle of the overgrown park a few blocks away from the General's Hotel, was what appeared to be a crude pullstick-box trap, next to a crudely painted sign that read 'free cookies!'

indeed, there was a plate under the trap that was piled high with delicious looking oatmeal cookies.

Melody stayed close to Stitch, guarding her. What...WAS that THING talking to them about cookies? She looked around at her teammates, bombs still in hand.

"OW! What the fuck?!" Melody yelped in surprise. She flung bombs at the skulking figure that she assumed had thrown the fork and then gingerly plucked it out of her arm. "Let's take these fuckers out," she said, her eyes crackling with blue energy as she formed more bombs, tossing one at the box of cookies and holding the other to fling at anyone who approached.

melody's bomb took out the skulking figure, the glow revealing it to be a roughly constructed decoy.

tey next thing she felt was the painful bite on her shoulder, as one of the most horrifying visages she had ever seen began chewing on her soft tissues.

"TasTy CookIES... "

Any probes nearby were quickly sliced and smeared with a toxic, smelly residue. And Stich was tossed roughly several feet away.

Melody screamed, both from the pain of having someone bite her, and then the horror of seeing who was actually doing it.

"FUCK! GET IT OFF ME!" she cried, trying to awkwardly smash her opposite arm's handful of bomb into the creature's face.
