Melody, her shoulder finally free from the vice-like jaws of the disgusting creature, staggered and tripped, falling to the ground, gasping in pain. She clamped her hand over the wound to staunch the steady stream of blood that came from it.

Melody sat on the ground, gritting her teeth against the pain, and trying her best to clamp down on the wound--not that it would really do that much good. It was then that she realized who had bitten her, and she let out an audible gasp.

I hate this place. So much.

She did her best to scramble over towards Stitch without attracting notice.

"Are you okay?" she asked, her voice strained.

Assuming the timing worked out, John would then use both fists to knock the creepy woman towards a tree... hard.

And the mockery was forced back, away from bear. Her arms were forced upwards, the cleaver in one hand, and a stick, from which what appeared to be used hypodermic needles attached, was in the other hand. She turned her head nearly all the way around, getting a good look at Will.

"WannA CooKIE?" she asked, her mouth contorted into a horrific grin.

bear fell to her knees, a trickle of blood descending from her throat as she clutched it.

John jumped, his powerful muscles sending him over the diving Cthonia and the momentum of his missed blow spinning him around in an accidentally graceful-looking display. Unfortunately for her, and quite possibly for himself, he was due to stomp back down on top of her.
