The Paladin cave

After a fairly long trek that took the team into the tunnels under London they reached the door of Paladin's safe house. Paladin typed the code into a panel and the steel door swung open revealing a mostly concrete yet well equipped safe house.

"There are showers, new uniforms, food, drink," Paladin said as he waited for all of them, "And a friend."

Once they were all in Paladin closed the door the artificial light showing that he hadn't had his fight all his way. Beneath the layer of filth you could see dents, bullet holes, tears, missing plates of armor.

"Madrox add our new guests biometric patterns to the security system. Give them guest level access to our facilities," Paladin said and the room chirped in acknowledgment as Paladin seemed to ignore Daniel's request for information.

"Can't speak for the rest of the X-Men, but personally I'm just better then the Acolytes," Rob says, "Someone interrogate Paladin about where the Headmistress is. I need to find a bathroom. I drank an entire Big Gulp a whole dimension back."

"Interrogate," Rob says, "Verb. To ask questions of someone."

"Stop getting all twitchy. Ten bucks says Paladin isn't even going to help us out unless we pay him back with some ridiculous chore he wants done anyway," Rob says waving his hand.

Paladin reached up towards his helmet and unlatched it. Air hissed as he removed it revealing a familiar yet different face.

"Let us answer the questions you've asked thus far. My name is Paladin and I can certainly provide you with a quest though it is not necessary if you desire my assistance," Paladin said, "Your headmistress is in good health. She asked me to find you and get you here safely as I helped her."

"And if you do not understand the difference between simply asking questions and an interrogation your intelligence has been greatly exaggerated.

He then looked at Stephanie.

"Your threatening posture is also much less impressive than the armored regiment I just crippled."
