Issue 1 Downtime

Obviously Croyden had said something, as now Nick had him pinned to a wall.

"If you ever so much as..." Nick growled, interrupted by the mug smashed against his head. He stumbled back. Croyden then tackled his double hard. They then rolled around exchanging blows.

An artificial voice chimed in from nowhere in particular.

"Announcement: Guests who are currently violating safety protocol desist or countermeasures will be activated."

They... didn't listen.

They never do. There were multiple clicking noises as small circular holes opened up on the ceiling.

"Ultimatum: This is your final warning to cease and desist violating safety protocols."

Nick spotted the holes and shoved Croyden aside with his powers. Croyden started to get up. Nick just pointed out the holes. The two then laid there for a moment, breathing.

"Fucking AIs..." they both said.

"Praise: Thank you for desisting."

The holes closed.

"Announcement: Croyden. Paladin has been notified of your violation of safety protocols. This system warns you that further violations will result in confinement."

"He started it..." Croyden grumbled.

"Dude... really? I'm not even touching that one."

"Announcement: We have sent a copy from the security footage to Paladin. He will review it upon his return. If you wish to make a statement it will be recorded now otherwise this system recommends avoiding contact with your duplicate."
