Harbinger blinked...and then blinked in surprise as she didn't get out of the way of the shot, trying to duck and avoiding the claws, but not the mass of Nailah slamming into her.

Spontaneously changing plans Nailah tackles her to the ground, quickly pushing herself up and raising her hand to strike again with Harbinger pinned to the ground beneath her, knowing the effect of keeping Harbinger anchored in 'reality' isn't going to last forever.

Harbinger's arm shot up, and caught Nailah's wrist, with surprising force.

"Naughty girl," she said, sending a blast of sheer physical energy at Nailah's midsection, whirling to take another shot at Sam on the physical plane.

Nailah is blasted off of Harbinger and slams into the wall, crumbling into a heap before pushing herself up again.

A telepathic birdy is a little too dangerous, don't you think, Polly? We'll have to burn that out of you... the voice came, traveling back down Sam's mental link---as she opened her mind, and let streams and flows of intense, cosmic knowledge and thought roar down the line...

At first Samantha seemed to weather this, her own mind rather vast. However, she began to clutch at her head as the various parts of her mind tried to make sense of the torrent, leaving her vulnerable.

And Nailah launched herself at Harbinger again. This time with less of a plan and more desperation.

Harbinger stepped slightly to one side, allowing Nailah to crash into Sam.

"Now, what do we saaaaay?"
she said, expectantly, dialing back the link to Sam.

"Fuck you." she hisses out, rolling herself off of Sam and sending a defiant blast of magic at Harbinger, though it's barely more than emphasis.

Nailah's expression is somewhere between impotent rage and desperation as she scrambles up and back a bit when suddenly a kind of serenity settles over her and she looks at Harbinger without fear and a calm, determined smirk.

"Go ahead. Do your worst."

"What's the point, right?" she says, still wearing that superior smile on her face. Unable to wink at Sam right now her tail flicks back and forth a couple times behind her.

Harbinger shouted something primal, and incomprehensible...and shot bolts of lightning from her fingers, hitting Nailah and Sam in their respective chests...

Nailah grits her teeth and with outstretched hands she bends the bolts away from them, the lightning impacting in the floor and walls around her. The air between her hands and electricity shimmers where cosmic power and magical energies collide and sweat runs down her forehead as the first small arcs begin bridging the gap and sparking into her hands and fingers...

And with a *BOOM* of light and sound, and a gust of wind, a green-colored figure shot down the hallway and SLAMMED into the Harbinger from behind, sending the two tumbling past Sam and Nailah.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Harbinger and Mira rolled on the ground, Harbinger getting to her feet first, and sending a blast of energy that seemed to ripple space itself, shattering glass and warping walls, and sending the Phoenix flying back down the hallway, over the heads of the teachers.

The moment Altamira blinked into existence and tackled her counterpart the energy that had accumulated between Harbinger and Nailah is released and the Sphinx collapses into a heap. Exhausted but still conscious and grinning weakly. Still she winced when Altamira was send flying over her head.

Mira shot back over their heads, deflecting blasts from Harbinger left and right into the walls, and, with an unearthly snarl, slammed into Harbinger, smashing through the wall out into the air beyond, and STILL they tumbled, blasts of energy lighting up the night sky...

Nailah pushes herself up with a cough, half from exhaustion half from the dust in the hallway from the blasted and smashed walls.

"One day. One day I'll fuck something up because I was wrong." she smiles crookedly.

The two lights, purple and red, darted through the skies of London at night, sending shockwaves and ripples audiable for MILES as they came together, crashing through Evil Nailah's crystal pillar, sending it tumbling down to shatter on the streets below.
